The amenities here really shine, such as the cheap laundry service, a lifesaver for travelers. The breakfast is honestly great, and enjoying it outside while soaking up the scenery is a major highlight.

There are a few kinks to work out. The bed quality varies a bit, with some guests noting uncomfortable mattresses and scratchy sheets. You might also run into issues with the room locks. One jammed and made getting back in a hassle. Plus, there are bright lights outside that can light up your room at night, which can be annoying when you're trying to sleep. I also found that the remote for the gate didn't work when I returned late.

Efficient staff on reception and elsewhere. Good sized and beautifully designed unit with a modern decor.

The estate radiates charm with beautifully maintained gardens and inviting areas for relaxation. We enjoyed complimentary wine tasting at the nearby vineyard.

The room is nicely and lovingly furnished! Everything you need to feel comfortable was there! The whole property was very well maintained, the pool and the suns invite you to relax and unwind! Very friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast was top!

Basse Provence Country House was one of our best accommodations during our South Africa vacation. Very nice and friendly staff, very good breakfast, great location with incl. wine tasting in the neighbouring estate. Were unfortunately only 1 night there. Absolutely recommendable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the spacious grounds perfect for our kids to run around. The complimentary breakfast was good, with plenty of fresh options that catered to our family's needs. We also loved the nearby walking paths through the vineyards.

One minor drawback was the limited lunch options available on-site, made planning meals a bit tricky.

Very impressed with family room with "cape" ambience. Stunning, magnificent location close enough to the vineyards of Franschoek, the Rickety Bridge winery, and restaurants. Also, in an incredible valley.

We had an incredible stay, particularly enjoying the spacious family room and the delightful breakfast, though the occasional noise from the nearby road was a bit distracting.

The location. The farm is beautiful with great views. The room was large and tasteful and the bed was comfortable. It was tranquil and peaceful and exactly what I wanted.

The stunning location in the heart of Franschhoek's wine district is beautiful. The Cape Dutch manor house is beautiful and set in lovely gardens. The manor room is a beautiful African themed room with thatched sloped ceiling. The staff were really nice and overall we could not fault it on anything. We would certainly stay there again
